I no longer use Camarillo Car Care, but when I lived in Camarillo they were my go-to for both small and big repairs. I had an old Mercedes that needed a lot of work, and I could always rely on these guys. I appreciated how quick they were to respond to me via email or phone about my repairs or to quote me with new work. I could always email my rep, Don, if I had a question about maintenance, car parts, repairs they were doing, or new repairs I needed quoted. They were also very accurate: if they said my car would take 2 days, I could expect a call two days later to pick it up. If they said it would be done end-of-day, I could expect a call by 5pm saying it was ready. I never had to follow up because I hadn't heard from them, unlike other places I've taken my car through the years. I also appreciated how their mechanics worked with my tight budget. A plastic housing for one of my headlamps melted, causing one of my headlights not to work, and they quoted me a new one at $800. As a student, I couldn't pay $800, so the mechanic cut and glued the plastic so it was back in working order. It was a cheap fix, but it did last another couple years until I sold the car. I have noticed that their prices do tend to run a little higher than other shops though , unless you're used to going to a dealer or specialty place. Their waiting room is nice. I hung out in there a couple times during some of the smaller repairs. I did use the overnight drop-off service once, which was quite handy. It is cool that they have a shuttle service, but it isn't the most efficient and, naturally, wasn't much of a help in getting me to work in Moorpark, since they only go within Camarillo. I did use it a couple times, however, and the driver was always friendly and prompt.
